The staff is as there name friendly, the night manager is so cute, his eyes make the food even better. Great local grouper. OMG they have sweet potato fries.

Grouper was great, corn fritters, cocktails what more could a person want OK alligator nuggets and they have them too

We took your card so we could pay you our compliments. We have been to the Friendly Fisherman 4 times since August of 2007. The food has been consistently great (and of great value for the quality and price) and the service is good and friendly.
 
 We have visited many other restaurants around the area ( over 10 others) but like yours the best.
 
 Please keep us on your email list. We plan to be back each time we come to St Pete which is about once a quarter.

We ate here during our honeymoon stay in Madeira Beach in December '07. The place came recommended by the receptionist at the resort we stayed at. We were first seated inside next to the window. After hearing music outside, we asked if we could move to the deck. Our waitress was very friendly and was more than happy to accommodate...

We moved from Italy and live in St. Pete now, and we have tried many restaurants, but what I like about Friendly Fisherman compare to other restaurants, is the location, laid back and friendly atmosphere, and most important, their fresh fish catch, that comes daily from their boats !!! You have to try their clam chowder, and the captains dish, they are the best!!!

My Wife and I recently spent 3 weeks at Indian Shores, and we ate at the Friendly Fisherman on a number of occasions. My particular favourite is Grouper, which I enjoyed Blackened, Cajun, Broiled and Fried. I also discovered Flounder which was beautiful. My Wife loved the Scallops and Shrimp. We both agree that the Clam Chowder is the best...

My family and I just spent 7 wonderful days in Madeira Beach. We ate at the Friendly Fisherman twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. We loved the food and the service was great. We loved the fritters and I miss the Boardwalk Salad already!! We watched dolphins swimming in the bay from our table! If you are visiting...
